Welcome to Jensen Ackles Network, your online resource dedicated to the American actor and director Jensen Ackles. You may know Jensen from his roles in "Supernatural", the long-running CW show where he plays Dean Winchester, "My Bloody Valentine", "Ten Inch Hero" and more. We aim to bring you all the latest news, photos, information and much more on Jensen’s career. We hope you enjoy your stay and come back soon!
It has been a few days since Jensen attended The Paley Center For Media’s 35th Annual PaleyFest Los Angeles – ‘Supernatural’ event and while I had already uploaded a staggering 300+ HQ photos to the gallery I have even more to share!
Below are some video interviews which have been released since the event on Tuesday, as well as a small snippet from an interview with PopSugar.
While it was a blast seeing Danneel Ackles take on the role of Sister Jo, her husband offered some fun, sweet tidbits about the flow of things off screen. “I think I was more nervous than she was, to be honest,” Jensen Ackles told me on the PaleyFest red carpet. “I wanted her to have a great experience, because, you know, this is kind of a show that I’m a cocaptain on, and I wanted to make sure that she was still comfortable enough to do what she’s really good at. And she was.”
We also spoke to Danneel Ackles on the red carpet. While she insisted their relationship was exactly the same on the Supernatural set, Jensen Ackles admitted there was a bit of an adjustment period when she first arrived. “She was basically like, ‘You’re acting weird. Stop it, you’re freaking me out,'” he said with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Sorry, just, know you, making sure you have everything you need!'” Frankly? Goals.
Yesterday Jensen attended the 35th Annual PaleyFestival alongside his Supernatural co-stars and wife Danneel Ackles to celebrate and promote the upcoming crossover episode with ScoobyDoo which is due to air next week. Jensen looked stylish as always at the event and we have added over 300+HQ photos to the gallery!
Last night Jensen appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show to talk about Supernatural, his brewery and, of course, turning 40 years old! You can find photos of Jensen arriving for his appearance as well as photos backstage and afterwards in the gallery;
Jensen and wife Danneel were featured in an article by Stephen K Peeples about a piece of art their recently purchased, ‘Y6 Sunrise’ Bull Skull by artist Boyd Elder; a photo of Jensen, Danneel and Boyd underneath the art is now uploaded into the gallery.
We did a big remodel. The house hadn’t really been updated since the late ‘90s, so we took the whole thing down to the studs and built it back up with a perfect blend of my wife’s and my styles.
It was actually Danneel’s idea to create what she referred to as “Laurel Canyon in the 1960s.” She’s always been drawn to that style as visitors can see from the many books in our house depicting that time and place. We worked with a fantastic interior designer, Fern Santini, who helped us achieve that.
We wanted to choose art that spoke to both Danneel and me as well. So, we put up a couple of really cool pieces in the dining room area, and it just started to happen organically.
Today the photographer who took the photos from the Supernatural Entertainment Weekly cover and feature in October last year has shared outtakes from the photo session with fans – and 16 outtakes feature Jensen!
Over the weekend Jensen, alongside wife Danneel took part in interviews and press held at their brewery The Family Business, which will be officially opening to the public this Wednesday. Press who got to visit and carry out interviews have been sharing articles and photos of their time; I have uploaded some new photos to the gallery and you can watch an interview which Jensen and Danneel did for Fox7Austin’s Good News segment.
The above video interview was shared by Fox7Austin.
Another great interview was carried out by KXAN where they talked with all members of the brewery (Jensen, Danneel Ackles, Gino Graul and Nate Seales) as well as sharing great photos of the inside of the brewery which you can view by visiting their full article.
When Ackles started homebrewing with his brother-in-law Gino Graul in Los Angeles, it was just a hobby.
“We would go in the backyard and tried to brew our own beer. It was horrible,” says Ackles with a chuckle. “Our friends were very kind and said that it wasn’t.”
Fast forward several years and the idea of starting a craft brewery became a reality when Ackles and his wife decided to move back to Texas after having their first child. Ackles, who is originally from North Texas, and Danneel Ackles, who is from Louisiana, always enjoyed visiting friends in Austin.
