I apologize for posting this so late!  Work has been nuts & I haven’t been able to work on the site.  Wooo-Hoo!

It’s about time! Zap2it can officially confirm that The CW has finally given “Supernatural” cast and crew the official word that the show has been renewed for Season 8 — and it’s a good thing, too, because we’re hearing that Season 7 will end with an impressive cliffhanger.

Of course, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will both return as Sam and Dean Winchester. Additionally, mainstays Jim Beaver and Misha Collins have expressed interest in revisiting the show next season. “I had that conversation with Sera and Bob recently, and told them ‘Hey, just so you know, I would love to keep working on the show,’” Collins told us.

That said, executive producer and showrunner Sera Gamble has chosen to develop other projects this year, and thus is stepping down from her position. Former “Supernatural” writer Jeremy Carver is returning to the show as a co-showrunner with Robert Singer. Carver will also continue to run SyFy’s “Being Human” remake.
